I AM A SENTIMENTAL PERSON BY NATURE
I save love letters, boarding passes, ticket stubs and anything else that helps me remember the good times. Photography allows me to capture the moment and keep it forever and there is magic in that for me. I love documenting love. I don’t really know how else to say it.
Wedding days are a whirlwind filled with so much organic emotion and I think that is what attracts me to them. There are so many special intimate moments sprinkled throughout the day and my eye is trained to see them and capture them in meaningful ways.
I believe we should all have images that transport us back to the moments that filled our hearts, shaped our identity and that remind us of the people that matter the most.
The Gift of memories
Photos give us the little pieces of our lives that we never want to forget and I am honored to be able to share that with others. I fell in love with photography in my high school darkroom and got a job just so I could afford film and paper. I went on to major in media and communication at the University of Washington while putting a heavy emphasis on visual arts and visual communication. I knew in my heart that I belonged behind the lens because it is where I am truly the happiest. A bonus to having me as your wedding photographer is that I am also a portrait photographer so I can continue to capture your life as it unfolds. I absolutely adore watching my couples start families of their own and getting to photograph the next chapter of their story.
I have always beeN A story teller, a big feeler AND A Hopeless romantic, So photographing weddings is Quite literally living my dream.
When I am not behind the lens
You can find me tending to my countless house plants, listening to music, hiking gorgeous trails and spending quality time with my husband and my two amazing kiddos. I am constantly searching ticket master for concerts and comedy shows. I absolutely love to travel as making core memories and living a life full of experiences is a top priority for me. I love coffee and a good laugh, but most of all…
